SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (KINDERGARTEN –GRADE 5)
 Casual Position

St. John’s-Ravenscourt School is currently accepting applications for substitute and short-term teachers.  Specifically, we are looking for substitute teachers with early years and elementary school experience, in a homeroom setting, to cover Kindergarten through Grade 5 classes as needed. The candidate will be a caring and inclusive educator, proficient in implementing teaching strategies that celebrate the unique strengths, learning needs, and cultural identities of each child in the classroom. 

Candidates will preferably have a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate and a Bachelor of Education degree. We will also consider endorsing candidates that do not hold a Manitoba Teaching Certificate to obtain a Limited Teaching for the purpose of substitute teaching. Such candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and must have a suitable mix of education and experience (e.g. ECE qualifications, tutoring experience, or experience teaching in another province or country), and be able to obtain criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
